The Tianyi Square Green and Low Carbon Parking Building Photovoltaic Project started construction in July 2022, achieving the benefits of being completed and put into use in the same year, and taking the lead in creating a replicable and promotable green and low-carbon commercial complex for integrated application of photovoltaic buildings in Ningbo and even Zhejiang. Adopting cadmium telluride thin film photovoltaic building integrated modules, supporting the construction of steel structure parking sheds, installing 18067 cadmium telluride thin film photovoltaic modules, including 1819 colored modules with a transmittance of 20%, enhancing the visual effect. The total installed capacity of Tianyi Photovoltaic Project is 1903.52 kilowatts, with an annual photovoltaic power generation of 1.5418 million kilowatt hours and an annual carbon dioxide emission reduction of 1537 tons. Based on the fact that each tree can absorb 5 to 10 kilograms of carbon emissions per year and the theoretical lifespan of photovoltaic equipment is 25 years, it is equivalent to planting 38400 to 76900 trees throughout the entire lifecycle.
